Top 50 K-Pop Singles of 2021: 50-41*

Happy New Year!

As we look forward to 2022, this post is about looking back. I'm here to deliver the best 50 K-pop singles of 2021!

Looking back, I think 2021 was a strong year for K-pop. Do I believe this year is as strong as other past iconic years? No, but this year boasts a handful of exciting musical moments. My top 10 is incredibly strong, followed by a list of impressive K-pop singles. It's hard to pinpoint the trend during 2021, but I feel retro was the industry's darling.

Before we move on, let's look at my criteria for picking my top 50 K-Pop singles:

1- A single must have a music video (doesn't have to be an official music video)

2- A single must be promoted as a K-pop single (this excluded a song like BTS' Butter since it was promoted as an English song)

3- A single must happen during this period - Jan. 1, 2021 - Dec. 31, 2021.
